Christmas is my favorite time of year! I love decorating, cooking, spending time with family, and the memories that are made throughout the season. Christmas can also be a busy time of year. If we are not careful, the true meaning of Christmas can be lost in the many events and purchases that often consume our time.
Several years ago, I did a study on the names of God during the Christmas season. It was truly transformational in keeping my focus on what was truly important. Because of that study, I decided to devote one of my Christmas trees to displaying the names of God. I made some very simple, inexpensive ornaments with several names of God and their meanings. You can see the Christmas tree and an explanation of how I made the ornaments in the video below.
This year, as a part of the Harvesting Home Christmas season, we have made available a FREE 20 Day devotional, “And He Shall Be Called.” This devotional leads you through a brief study of the names of God and includes interactive, activities for families.
