Favorite Devotional Books For Families

Sundays around the table have always been full of life and laughter in our family. Let’s just say, there is never a dull moment or a lull in the conversation-except maybe when our mouths are full. The table has always been a place to talk about our faith with our children, family, and friends.
Deuteronomy 11:19 says this about God’s word.
“You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.
As You Go Faith
This verse is referring to “as you go kind of faith.” In everything we do, we have an opportunity to walk, talk, eat, sing, work, play in a way that teaches our children to love God. But here is the thing. If we don’t love Him, how can we teach them to truly love him. WE have to be walking with Him and spending time with Him in order to teach them about Him. The exciting thing about it though, is that when we spend time with Him, our life will overflow with His presence and impact our families in ways we cannot even fathom.
