All The Things
I have been known to claim that May is oftentimes just as busy, just as hectic, just as full of events as December. Do you agree? Do you sometimes feel like you are doing “all the things”, trying to keep up but feeling like you are barely showing up? Today’s Monday Motivation is for YOU… and for me!
One day I feel like the next circus act juggling and spinning all the things around me, darting here and there just to keep things from crashing to the ground, including myself. Some days I feel like the clown with a smile on my face doing “all the things” to entertain and please everyone. Then there are some days, I feel like the ring leader who seems to have it all under control. But do I really? Maybe the real question is, should I?
The Master of “All the Things”
If you are feeling anxious today, trying to keep your juggling act going, you are not alone! Jesus wants to step into your circus and be the Master of “all the things” that you are called to do. He actually tells us in Philippians 4 not be be anxious about anyTHING and we should be thankful for everyTHING. Check out some of the THINGS that Jesus tells us about through walking in “All the Things” below:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
“Do all things without grumbling or complaining.”
“In everyTHING give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Thess. 5:18

This week, let’s give all of our things to Him. We can trust him to juggle our circus act. When he takes over, you will experience the strength and power of God in exciting ways. Listen, if he can set the world in place and keep it spinning, surely he can handle “all the things” that seem to be spinning in your life. Give it to Him. Trust Him. Rest in Him today!
